Welcome to The Meadows, where humans and elves have coexisted since forever. In this gritty alternate present, two detectives are pulled into a supernatural case that could flip their entire world upside down. This series blends hard-boiled detective vibes with the dark magic and intrigue of a fantasy epic. Meet Detective Blake Simmons - a half-human, half-elf hybrid haunted by the unsolved murder of his mother, 27 years in the past. With justice on his mind and a chip on his shoulder, Blake dives into the mysteries of The Meadows, where magic runs through the streets and danger lurks around every corner.
The mastermind behind this masterpiece is none other than Frederick Littles, creator and founder of Wise Acre Comics. He’s the driving force behind a whole universe of stories, including Magnus, The Miscreants, and Aeon Blaze. When he's not crafting mind-bending worlds, he's serving in the United States Air Force.
Joining him is Chepe Rios, a comic artist from Mexico with a love for adventure novels, B-movies, and lucha libre. Chepe's pencils and inks bring The Meadows to life. Coloring duties are handled by King Bola, a self-taught artist from the Philippines whose been mastering his craft for over 15 years. And tying it all together, we have LetterSquids, a pro letterer and graphic designer, and Sean Meighen, the editor with a keen eye for supernatural and fantasy storytelling.
