Created by Matthew Blair, Frankie B. Washington & Mike Stock; KAIJUS & COWBOYS #1 takes place on the surface of an alien planet where a lone robot known only as the Hunter wanders across the land fighting kaiju and protecting his fellow robots as they try to build a world for the humans sleeping in orbit.
 
Along the way he meets a humble maintenance robot named Doc, who is determined to follow him and learn more about the world outside his community.
