Following the smash success of Rocking Heels: Live at Metal Church from August 2023, this next release captures the magic of her June 19th, 2016 performance at Hellfest, one of Europe's most prestigious metal gatherings in Clisson, France. With her unparalleled operatic prowess fused with the raw power of heavy metal, Tarja's Hellfest set was nothing short of spellbinding—easily one of the standout moments of the entire festival.
The setlist was a handpicked blend of her solo career masterpieces and classic Nightwish anthems. Opening with "No Bitter End" from her 2016 album The Shadow Self, Tarja set the stage for a night filled with raw emotion and blistering intensity. Her commanding presence, paired with the intricate, dramatic arrangements, left an indelible mark on fans and critics alike—cementing her status as one of metal’s reigning queens.
Leading the charge for this release is the first single, Supremacy - a symphonic rock cover of the Muse original. Tarja’s powerhouse vocals, layered over an epic orchestral backdrop, transform the song into a dramatic, larger-than-life experience. Merging crushing guitar riffs with sweeping symphonic elements, Tarja elevates the themes of power and resilience, injecting her own unique blend of classical and metal to craft something truly haunting and electrifying.
