The J-Horror in Deviloof's "Inshu" Music Video will Leave you Gasping for Air!

This Deviloof video is Freaking Nuts!

Crazed Japanese deathcore band, Deviloof, have enlisted the acting talent of Shogun actor Tadanobu Asano as the main character and doomed protagonist for their film clip of latest single "Inshu."

Starting off atmospheric and ethereally haunting, Asano's character meets up with a woman brandishing a snake in what looks to be a market in Japan. As the atmospheric music abruptly ceases the signature assault of Deviloof's guitars and a barrage of drums causes the film clip to frantically shift between scenes of a woman suffering a disease, Asano cutting his own throat with a katana, Asano sitting with a geisha and blood splashing inside a glass cabinet.

Vocalist Keisuke then spends the majority of the video haunting and screaming at Asano's character as the woman we saw briefly, suffering from a disease, is stalking him inside his own bed chamber. Descending into madness as this "curse" begins to afflict him, the viewer is shown a smattering of horror images and bizarre oddities that add to the manic nature of this Deviloof track.

Stylistically, "Inshu" plays into all the sights you're used to seeing if J-Horror is your thing. But, despite all the malevolence of this video, it's the quiet interlude showing Asano's character cut his own throat in complete silence which will make you gasp in terror. Before the manic riffs of the final breakdown grab you by the throat and take you on a final horrific journey. Leaving you gasping for air and thinking "what-the-f**k did I just watch?"

An incredible 5 minute video of J-horror. That's what you just watched. But thanks for asking.
